About Us
Rhona Bamford
Rhona is a highly experienced physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in the United Kingdom, graduating with a first class honours. Before moving to Australia in 2014, she gained valuable experience working alongside the top physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons in the National Health Service in Scotland.
Rhona has worked with people of all ages and abilities across a range of physiotherapy disciplines, including musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological and respiratory rehabilitation. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, particularly in injury prevention and minimising recovery time. She has worked locally, in Brisbane, in private practice for over 10 years, treating a broad range of conditions, and was also previously appointed the physiotherapist for a local rugby team in Scotland.
Outside of work, Rhona loves exercising and being outdoors. Her hobbies include long distance running, road cycling, triathlons and hiking.
You’ll find Rhona to be an easy to approach, caring and friendly physiotherapist, who’s treatment approach has a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and analysing the bigger picture.
